When classes began for the 2014 fall semester, Marietta College welcomed more than 350 freshmen who are studying in one or more of the 44 majors.

The University of Findlay is welcoming approximately 730 new undergraduate students this fall. Findlay's fall first-time, full-time entering class is 6.5 percent larger than last fall's class and the University's total enrollment is up 8.5 percent - 3,956, compared to 3,645 students last fall.

The University of Findlay announces Merit Scholarship awards, which are based on a student's final, cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) and ACT/SAT scores. Scholarships are awarded beginning with the freshman year and are renewable for up to four years (for a total of five years of scholarship aid). Merit scholarships for transfer students are based on the student's GPA from all previous college-level institutions.

The University of Findlay will host a student/faculty charity basketball game at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, in Croy Gymnasium to support local organizations Open Arms Domestic Violence Shelter and Teddy's Rescue.
